Coaching skills in education
Our vision is to support Bulgarian education in building a sustainable and effective system in which learners gain valuable knowledge and skills, and teachers increase their confidence and expertise through modern, innovative methods of communication, training and personal development.
Nowadays, it is no longer enough for teachers to teach their subjects well. Their role is much more important and one of the great challenges they face is to build and maintain the motivation and aspiration of students to develop. To be truly useful, teachers and educators need new knowledge and skills for effective communication, mentoring and coaching.
Coaching is one of the new approaches applied in the education systems of Europe and around the world. By applying coaching skills, educators create a new culture based on creativity, self-knowledge, empathy, focus and results-oriented development.

Our “world game”:
As an expression of our deep belief that coaching is a valuable managerial competence and is a necessity in the field of new education, we open the doors of coach training “PULSE of Coaching” for directors of educational institutions, teachers, educators and education professionals.
The ideal participant in the certification program is proactive and with a strong internal motivation to introduce innovations in the learning process. Its important qualities are the ability to apply what is learned in a sustainable system and the desire to develop a coaching culture in relationships with colleagues, partners, students, parents and others.
About the “PULSE of Coaching” – Certification coach training program:
The PULSE of Coaching is a certification coach training based on the 11 Key Coaching Competences defined by the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
- Training in groups of 10-12 people
- 4 Steps (modules) with a total duration of 140 hours, spread over 10 months
- 7 hours of individual coaching
- 13 hours of mentoring
- Online learning in a real time that allows participation from anywhere via computer, tablet or phone
- Lectures and teaching materials entirely in Bulgarian
- Recordings of all training sessions suitable for re-listening and deepening into the topic
- Group practices, group for sharing and discussions
- Full access to trainers and mentors
- Certificate of completion of the program

Apply for a 100% scholarship!
In each group of “PULSE of Coaching” certification coach training program we give a full scholarship for a specialist in education or social sphere. The scholarship is given for the full 4-step training course of the “PULSE of Coaching”.
The scholarship is worth 3460 EUR, VAT not included.
Who can apply:
- educators and teachers from kindergartens, primary and secondary schools (public and private);
- teachers in technical schools, colleges and universities (public and private);
- practicing pedagogues;
- directors, deputy directors and managers of educational institutions (public and private);
- specialists from the educational and social spheres.
Application requirements:
Brief CV
- Cover letter: we are not expecting essays, so just describe in one paragraph what motivates you to apply for this scholarship;
- Concept of your project: how do you intend to implement the coaching approach in your practice, how many and which people will participate, in what period and what results do you expect; again in 1-2 paragraphs.
An advantage is a previous experience in projects for innovation in education.
Application process:
- Registration and submission of documents is from the form below. Deadline: September 1 (Tuesday) 2020.
- Personal interview with candidates who passed initial selection.
- Selection of a candidate for a full scholarship, until September 22 (Tuesday) 2020

Coaching IMPULSE (free online demo training session):
Within 1.5 hours, participants immerse themselves in the online environment, get acquainted with the structure of the training session and our teaching style. Through experience, inspiration, practice and discussions, participants get acquainted with the coaching approach and at the end of the demo have a model that they can apply immediately in their daily communication.
